Recipe of Today: Strawberry Santas
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh strawberries
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Wash the strawberries and cut off the green tops. Slice a small portion from the pointed end of each strawberry to create a flat base for them to stand on.
- In the mixing bowl of your Kitchenin KM50 Stand Mixer, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Start the Kitchenin Stand Mixer on medium speed to whip the ingredients until smooth and well combined.
- Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a piping bag with a star tip. Pipe the filling onto the flat side of each strawberry, creating a little Santa hat.
- Place a mini chocolate chip at the top of the cream cheese filling to represent the tip of Santa's hat.
- Add two more chocolate chips a little lower for the eyes. Then finish by placing a small dot of cream cheese for the nose.
- Refrigerate the Strawberry Santas for about 30 minutes to firm up the filling. Serve and enjoy!
