Recipe of Today: Strawberry Mousse Cake

Ingredients:

  • 9 fresh strawberries
  • 1 ¼ cups Oreo crumbs
  • 3 tbsps melted butter
  • 1 ½ cups cream cheese
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups whipping cream
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 0.5 oz unflavored gelatin
  • ⅓ cup strawberry jam

Instructions:

  • Mix Oreo crumbs with melted butter. Press the mixture into the mold. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  • In the mixing bowl of your Kitchenin KM50 Stand Mixer, combine cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add whipping cream and mix well.
  • Divide the cream cheese mixture in half.
  • For the first portion, add gelatin mixture (3 tbsps hot milk + 1 tsp gelatin). Pour into the mold and freeze for 10-20 minutes.
  • For the second portion, add ⅓ cup strawberry jam and gelatin mixture (3 tbsps hot milk + 1 tsp gelatin).
  • Pour the strawberry mixture over the set cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until fully set, approximately 4 hours or overnight.
  • Before serving, top with whipped cream. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
  • Slice into heavenly portions and enjoy the delightful layers of this Strawberry Mousse Cake!
