Recipe of Today: Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsps vanilla extract
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
- Using the Kitchenin KM50 Stand Mixer, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, for about 3 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Then add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined. Reduce the mixer speed to low and slowly add in the flour mixture until fully incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve with a glass of cold milk and enjoy!
